Training Program:

 

Ndassie Solar will conduct a local supervisory course that focuses primarily on theory and information about solar technology and Ndassie business concepts. Then, we will offer additional training for first- and second-line supervisors, focusing on management skills in supervising and motivating employees to increase productivity. The program would be administered with the help of our regional structure partner.

 

 

 

Format of a “typical” training will include the following main topics:

 

- Theory and information about solar technology

- Information about Ndassie Solar concept and certification sessions for

- local solar team managers, solar products marketers and solar technology technicians

- On-site and practices training session.

 

 

 

Training Objectives:

 

The training will focus on skills such as management of stations, marketing of solar lamps and solar technicians’ skills.

The actual concept will involve workshops sessions as they effectively model the desired solar technology skills. These sessions will provide positive models to use in future training sessions. Supervisors will then practice the specific know-how demonstrated by the sessions until they gain confidence in their ability to handle the same situations on the job. Both participants and trainers provide critiques during the practice sessions. Follow-up sessions will allow evaluation time in which participants report on success, problems, and questions arising from on-the-job application.
